majulah singapura!

i have been working here in Singapore for the past..errrr...ammm...1...2...3...oh yes, for the past two months..antagal ko na noh?chos!

and so far (lets just assume na credible na ang two-month stay ko), i enjoy staying working here. its clean, safe, and everything else seems to be in order..kahit mga mga puno at halaman eh meron atang sinusunod na policy kung ilang branch at dahon ang dapat sa kanila ay tumubo..and halos lahat ng vacant land nila eh me grass..greenier pasture nga talaga dito..literal!hehehe

"Attention please. if you see any suspicious-looking person or article, please inform our staff or use the communication button on the side of the train doors. Thank you."

transportation is very accessible and very convenient ang magtravel..people are very diciplined (especially sa mga MRT's). people really wait for the passengers to alight first before they board the train. and one thing that really amazed me is yung mode of payment nila sa fare..they call it the EZ-Link card. its a prepaid card that you can use to pay fares sa MRT's and even buses. ita-tap mo lang siya pag pasok at pag labas mo then aun na..!wala na yung mga konduktor sa bus na sumisigaw ng "ticket ticket lang po!"

"auntie, i'll one minced meat noodles having here!"

food is quite expensive if icoconvert mo sa peso but if you are working here na, its cheap naman. mahilig sila dito sa mga spicy 'coz most of the citizens here in Singapore are Chinese and Indian (im getting used to eat curry of all kinds na). but some food are masarap naman actually..kakaiba pero okay lang..(i still miss pinoy food though). yung mga canteen/karinderya dito, they call it Hawker Centre / Coffee Shop. para lang siyang place na madaming  nagbebenta ng food, parang food court ba. they cater different food for different culture.

"ni hao ma!"

the locals here are not that friendly (i think so). pero hindi naman sila nananakit or anything. maybe hindi lang sila tulad naten sa Pilipinas na iba ang treatment sa mga foreigners. in terms of work ethics, i think they have the superiority complex attitude towards FT's (Foreign Talents). good thing, okay mga workmates ko dito sa work. anyway, me tao din pala na amoy sibuyas na nilagay sa ref and i bet alam nyo na kung sino ang mga yun. in fairness talaga, kahit malayo sila maamoy mo..nanunuot sa ilong!but it's quite offensive daw if magtatakip ka so its either endure the scent until you get used to it or lumayo ka na lang. hehehe

generally, maganda ang Singapore. very convenient dito kahit na mataas ang cost of living, worth it naman ang pag stay. i give credit to the government of this country 'coz they are really aiming to provide their citizens the best facilities and service.

sana ganun din tau sa Pilipinas.

sana lang naman hehehe...
